Mrs. Savage has been left ten million dollars by her husband, and wants to make the best of it, in spite of the efforts of her grown-up stepchildren who commit her to a sanatorium, hoping “to bring her to her senses.” While there, she meets various social misfits who just can’t adjust themselves to the harsh realities of life. Believing in Mrs. Savage, her new-found friends help conspire against her self-serving stepchildren in keeping the secret of the “hidden bonds.” Both comedic and poignant, THE CURIOUS SAVAGE is a tribute to the uniqueness in all of us and the ultimate triumph over a world motivated at times only by greed and dishonesty.
